Answer: I used to live in Newton Abbot for several years until recently moving to Teignmouth. I wouldn't say there was anywhere that good to eat in Newton Abbot, but it depends what you're looking for. There's pubs that do nice food, The Jolly Farmer in Sherborne Road There are a couple of places I like near Newton Abbot, The Church House inn in Stokeinteignhead (great food!) & The Flying Goose in Combeinteignhead.
