Answer: It depends on your definition of near! They are not located in the same place in London. Westminster Abbey is in Central London, while Abbey Road (the Beatles recording studio) is located in St John's Wood, which is Northwest London. That being said, it is very possible to see both in one day. The tube (the public transport system of London) is very efficient, and it would less than an hour to travel between them. There are many tours that take you to all the Beatles sights in one day, London Walks runs great tours, they use public transport to keep the prices minimal, and have fantastic guides for about 10pounds. It is free to walk around the grounds of Westminster Abbey, but from Memory it costs about 15pounds to go inside. I didnt go in, but I am told that it is stunning. Within 10 minues walk of Westminster Abbey is the London Eye, houses of Paliment, Trafalgar Square, picadilly circus and Buckingham palace. The best way to see those sights in London is to wander around, it is very close together and easy to find :) Happy Travels :)
