Question: I would like to know how full lake Eyre will be in June. and the best way to get there and is it woth seeing.
Answer: Lake Eyre began filling in March this year so it will still have a lot of water in June. There will be millions of pelicans, stilts and terns nesting on the lake. There is a Lake Eyre Yacht Club that has outings when the lake has water in it. The best way to see it would be with an organised tour. Google "Lake Eyre tours" and see what comes up or contact any Adelaide travel agent and ask. If you can include a flight over the lake or a hot air balloon trip, do so
