What's a good material for making a Cool Wall (Fabric Bullitin Wall)?

Question: Hi, I would like to create a "Cool Wall" for my apartment. See video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=S3PCuYmoeoQ I would like to make it 4 door sized panels wide, and about 5-6 ft. high black cloth covered tack or velcro wall. I have a few questions 1) What's a good material for the backing board behind the cool wall. 2) What's a good material for the cloth covering? 3) How should I mount it to the wall. (Keep in mind this is an apartment, fewer holes the better so I can repair it easily when I move out) 4) Where can I find these materials? Thanks

Answer: go to home depot or lowes, buy sheets of stryfoam paneling 4x8 should be around sheetrock somewhere as its used to insulate walls in and out. Then look for either a spray glue or pail of adhesive people working there can help you with type you'll need. Then go to a fabric store and buy whatever type of cloth or faux leather you like.hint here is to look for enough material to wrap at least 2-3 inches behind foam board, also look for discontinued or on sale material.now if you pick material that is light enough ask them for rolls of velcro they should have it there also.
